PASSION 2010

Article Pic A cast of over 70 people, including a 50-voice choir, will

 

present the last days of Christ and His triumphal Resurrection in the Second Annual PASSION of Decatur. Make plans to join us Thu & Fri (3/25-26) or Wed - Fri (3/31-4/2) at 7PM.  (Doors open at 6PM.)

 

ADMISSION IS FREE and a free-will offering will be taken. Group seating is available for groups of ten or more. For questions, contact the church office at 875-0616.  

Easter Events

Join us for any of our Easter events as we celebrate Christ's triumphal return!

CROSS WALK on PALM SUNDAY (March 28th, Noon - 4pm)

Following the 11am service, join us for lunch and a 6.7 mile walk to Central Park bearing a cross as we witness to Decatur. Once in Central Park, we will hold a worship service and receive communion. This is a wonderful time to reflect on Christ's own walk and all that Easter represents. (To build a cross, join us Wednesday, Mar. 24 at 7 PM in the Fireside Room.)

SATURDAY PRAYER SERVICE  (April 3rd, Noon)

Join us the day before Easter at Noon in the Sanctuary for a time of reflection and thanksgiving as we usher in Easter.

EASTER SUNDAY (April 4)

7:00am Sunrise Service

8:00-10:30am Enjoy a delicious FREE breakfast provided by our Children's Ministry.  Donations accepted.

9:00 & 11:00 Regular Service times

 

 

Marriage Sermon Series in February

Article Pic Being married in today's society, you likely face the same challenges as your neighbors - how to deal with debt, maintain intimacy, fight fair, and stay married for life. Join us in February during our 9am and 11am services as we explore how to love and honor your mate through all of life's challenges. This series will end with an opportunity to renew your vows during our Feb. 28th service. Pastor Crump would love the opportunity to marry a couple during the service, so if you would be interested, contact him at the church at 875-0616.

UPWARD BASKETBALL LEAGUE

                                                       Leading People to a Christ-Like Life
"To introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports"


Upward Basketball/Cheerleading is a program for kids from grades K-6th who will learn the skills to basketball and cheerleading but more importantly they will learn about Jesus Christ in the 8 weeks of this program.
