The winning team was a very good team with some very excellent golfers. Justin Bird a teenager won the longest drive of 300 yards. While his father Kevin Bird and Joel Fletcher putted the eyes out of the greens. It was providential that Rich Nottlemann (the only card carrying golf professional in the tournament) was unable to make it. They shot 9 under par on a very cold, raw, damp day in October.

Others who scored well were the team of David Ragan, Bob Gruenewald, Greg Johnson, and Brian Jones (7 under) followed by two teams that tied. The Teams of Ron Neufeld, Justin Neufeld, Jeremy Palinski, Brandon Mosley and the other with Mike Hilderbrand, Fred Holmes, Steve Halford, and Pastor Tim Crump shot 5 under par.

The rest of us like the Chicago Cubs will have to look to next year.
