Creative Kids Mission Statement
It is our wholehearted desire, in working with a child's parents or caregivers, to provide the best possible Christ-centered environment to the children entrusted to our care.
We are committed to the highest standards of excellence in delivering a safe, clean, and professional daycare service.
We are also committed to providing a loving, creative, and stimulating learning environment to meet the spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of each child.
Creative Kids Core Values
- We believe in Christ-Centered Relationships.
- We believe safety and comfort are paramount for a child's well-being.
- We believe a child's future is determined by a healthy balance: social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual.
- We believe parents will have peace of mind as they see Jesus' love through the staff.
- We believe character-building, unity, and Christ-like values are keys to quality teamwork.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
We offer before and after school care for children K-6th grades at Maroa/Forsyth, Warrensburg-Latham, and Johns Hill and after school for Stevenson. Our Creative Kids' vans pick up the students. We offer homework help, physical activities and sports, as well as a nutritious snack. After having a day full of structure, we hope our program is fun and relaxing for the children.
Large Indoor/Outdoor Play Area
We use a large multi-purpose room filled with slides, bikes, and other toys for recess time. When it’s nice outside, we have two separate age-appropriate playgrounds, a sand box, and area for large riding toys. A play field is also available for playing games on.
Creative Kids Is A Secured Facility
The daycare is safely locked by a controlled security system and only staff can open entrance doors, thus allowing only authorized people into the daycare premises. In addition we use a computerized check-in/check-out system to provide a secure pick up of children. Therefore you do not have to be concerned with the safety or security of your child.
Curriculum
Infants and Toddlers
The Pinnacle Curriculum promotes activities that stimulate growth and development that can be incorporated into the routines of the day. Encouraging an atmosphere of caring, love, and hugs, the Pinnacle Curriculum provides teachers with fun activities to do with little ones all day, even during the "Radical Routines" of eating and changing! The curriculum and lesson plans are designed for personalization, making it easy to craft the curriculum to meet your child's specific needs.
Twos, Threes, and Fours
For two-, three-, and four-year-olds, the Pinnacle Curriculum follows a daily activity format that matches the ever-changing needs of your rapidly developing child! Each age group has a separate curriculum that is specific to their educational and emotional needs, interests, and activity levels. Teachers have an abundance of ideas to enrich the learning centers in their classroom, providing many choices for your child to learn more about what he or she is interested in. Threes and Fours also use the BEKA Program to enhance their learning of the Bible at an age-appropriate level.
Nutritious Meals
Creative Kids has awesome food which is provided daily according to the State Food Program through the State of Illinois Board of Education. Each class has a set breakfast and lunch time, and there is an afternoon snack provided after nap each day.
Summer School Program
During the summer, Creative Kids offers a high-paced and exciting program for the school-agers. They take many field trips to such places as Scovill Zoo, the miniature golf course, area parks, bowling alleys, swimming at the YMCA, and the library , and enjoy many other fun outdoor activities.
