Led and Hosted by Jim & Cindy Park, 1630 Fleetwood Ct., Mt. Zion, 864-4051
Our postmodern society is expert at distorting the truth. How can we learn to discern God's truth in a culture of deception? In this 5-session series, we expose four destructive lies about authority, pain, sex, and sin and learn straightforward insights that will help us exchange the falsehoods of our day for the life-changing truths of Scripture.
Don't Waste Your Life Sunday's 5-7pm, Room 113
Led by Ryan & Jenna McCrady, 330-6931
In this provocative work, we will be challenged to set aside the trivial pursuit of self-fulfillment so we can develop a deeper passion for God. If we passionately submit the sufferings we endure, the risks we take, and the goals we set to the pursuit of God's glory, then not one moment of our lives will be wasted. Don't miss this opportunity to rekindle your passion for the cross of Christ and the glory of God.
Faith, Hope, & Luck Sunday's 5-7pm, Room 121
Led by Carol Eichel, 875-0770
It's risky business when faith in God relies on our interpretation of his activity (or lack of it) in our lives! Andy Stanley reveals the difference between faith and hope, offers a biblical definition of faith, and deconstructs "The Faith Movement". This book provides a great way to spark individual reflection and group discussion.
The Best Question Ever Sunday's 5-7pm, Room 115
Led by Jerry & Dorothy Born, 428-8870
We all have regrets - things we wish we'd never done or never said. But life doesn't have to be that way! While trying to help people who were distraught over bad decisions, Andy Stanley discovered The Best Question Ever. Now you can discover the way to goof-proof your decision making by asking yourself this simple question: "What's the wise thing to do?".
The Book of Psalms Sunday's 5-7pm, Room 122
Led by Barb Barringer, 424-8920
Have you ever been curious as to what the Psalms are really about? Come and study this book with us and discover how it describes what God has done and will do in the future, and why we need Him in the immediate present as we recognize His sovereignty and goodness.
The Christian Atheist Sunday's 5-7pm, Room 120
Led by Pastor Wade & Paula Stine, 521-1463
Does your belief in God impact your daily life? If the answer is no, you may be a Christian Atheist. A Christian Atheist is someone who believes in God but lives like He doesn't. For example, you say you believe in God, but you worry all the time or you say you believe in God, but you trust money more than Him. Come discover how to have a powerful, intimate relationship with God, and you'll never be the same.
The Hole in Our Gospel Sunday's 5-7pm,
In Home Led & Hosted by Pastor Tim & Cindy Crump, 315 Cale Ct., Forsyth, 872-1627
What Does God Expects of Us? Is our faith just about going to church, studying the Bible, and avoiding sin, or does God expect more? Have we embraced the whole Gospel, or a Gospel with a hole in it? What if all the followers of Jesus looked beyond the walls of the church and worked towards reclaiming the world for Christ's Kingdom? What if we actually demonstrated God's love for the world instead of just talking about it? Join us as we study Richard Stearns book, "The Hole In Our Gospel". In addition, once a month we will be taking our small group on the road and be involved in acts of kindness, mercy, and compassion. So join your tour guides, Pastor Tim and Cindy Crump, in their home Sunday's from 5-7 p.m.
